rior to starting my professional organizing business, I owned a youth sport and fitness franchise for 12 years. Also a mom of three young, active children, I was no stranger to messy rooms and chaos. It seemed impossible to keep my home neat with the little time I had and three small humans working against me. Trying to balance both family and work became extremely challenging and I sought out solutions to minimize my stress.
I began putting systems in place to make everyday tasks and clean-up easy, which helped me feel less stressed. I slowly went through my home, organizing closets, pantries, cabinets, etc., getting rid of what we didn’t use and organizing what we did. Over time, I knew where things “lived” in our home. This made it easier to find what I needed when I needed it and also helped when it came time to put things away. This was especially true for my children. As they got older, they were responsible for keeping track of their belongings.
When the pandemic hit, my organizing journey really took off. With downtime from my business, I found myself going from room to room, implementing structure and creating balance. The process brought me a new kind of happiness and a new sense of calm that I wanted to share with as many people as possible. I sold my business at the beginning of 2022 and couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter. I look forward to helping individuals and families organize their homes and bring peace to their lives.
Our playroom was once impossible to keep clean. By giving each toy a contained place, creating picture labels and categorized areas, Jessica has now turned a daunting task into a quick accomplishment. Not only does her system allow our young children to be more focused with their play, it also gives them the direction and tools to be more independent and participate in the clean up as well.
